Description
Dick De Groot already knew Provence well when he, his wife Eugénie, and his children decided to realize their dream of becoming winemakers. The family had vacationed in the area for many years, and Dick has said that he fell in love with the property because of his “passion for wine and for France.” This truly Provençal-style rosé is made from carefully-selected grapes from the two oldest plots at the domaine - some of these which are from 55-year-old vines. The grapes are harvested at night to capitalize on the optimal cooler temperatures before the grapes are pressed at low pressure to produce a lovely, clear, and fruity rosé. This juice is fermented at low temperatures, followed by natural cold clarification, with the main goal to preserve the aromas and freshness of the grape varietals. Pour this rosé chilled at 8 C, from now until 2022.

A pizza with blistered tomatoes and buffalo mozzarella, on a puff pastry crust, would be an amazing pairing with this crisp, delicious wine.
