When will I be charged for my monthly membership?
We will be charging credit cards on the first of every month. Once you have paid, you will have access to the site for the rest of the month. Also please be aware that if you cancel before the end of the month, your membership is cancelled automatically and you won’t be able to access the store anymore. So take advantage of your month!
How is my wine shipped?
Your wine is shipped directly from our climate controlled warehouse to your home or office. It will arrive safe in our proprietary packing. We offer a 100% guarantee that your wine arrives intact.
How long will it take to receive my wine?
Your order will ship from Tannic within a few days from the time you click the process order button. Please allow up to one week from the date of shipment for your order to arrive on your doorstep. The extra time is worth it; working this way allows us to secure the best prices and selection for you — which is what an exclusive shopping club is all about!
During the winter, we reserve the right to hold your shipment if the temperatures will be below -20 degrees Celsius in order to protect the integrity of your wine. We will inform you if your package has been delayed due to extreme weather.
Can I ship my order outside Alberta?
Yes, to provinces that allow for the inter-provincial shipment of wine. We will not ship to provinces which have laws prohibiting the inter-provincial shipment of wine.
I will be away during my next shipment, what can I do?
If you will be away during the time of shipping, you can re-route your shipment to an address that will be able to receive it on your behalf. Simply log in and edit shipping details for current shipment.
Can I change the address my wine is shipped to?
If you have moved or would like to permanently change your shipping address you can do this by logging in to your account and editing shipping address.
Can the courier leave my wine on my porch?
No. At no time can your wine be left unattended and unsigned for by someone 19 years or older.
Is there any minimum or maximum order size?
You can order as much or as little as you want. Additionally, you can order multiple cases of the same product if you wish, capped only at the wine’s availability. Wine can only be purchased for personal consumption.
There is a wine which I want to purchase but it says “sold out”. Can I get some?
Unfortunately, once a wine is sold out it is gone. If you get in touch with us, we can direct you to a retail location in your area where you may be able to pick it up. Conversely, if you are interested in more than a case of the product we can try and secure more for you.
Why are there only nine to twelve wines on the site? Isn’t there more selection?
Tannic.ca’s business model is one of a constant rotation of selection. We have nine to twelve wines on the site with four to six new wines added weekly. That constantly refreshed selection allows us to offer wines which have extremely limited selection but still maintain a variety of wines for our consumers. In a year you will have access to over 250 wines at prices well below retail.
I want to give a couple of Tannic bottles as a gift, how do I do that?
When purchasing, simply type in the name and address of the giftee in the shipping field and the package will go directly to them. Please note, you will need to ensure that the giftee knows that the package is coming directly to their home or office.

What are my payment options?
We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express. We charge you immediately at the time of purchase.
Do you keep my credit card information on file?
For maximum security we do not keep your credit card information on file. You will need to re-enter your credit card information each time you make a purchase.
Can I cancel my order?
Once you have selected and paid for wines from Tannic.ca, orders cannot be cancelled or refunded. All sales are final.
What if my wine arrives damaged?
Our custom built polystyrene packing rarely allows for a broken bottle. However, now and then due to shipping or weather, bottles do arrive damaged. Should your shipment arrive in pieces, please email the wine’s details and a photo of the broken bottle to firstname.lastname@example.org. Within 30 days of receiving your shipment, we will happily work out a solution with you.
I dislike the wine that I chose, what can I do?
We take great pride in sourcing premium wine for our members. We are confident in the quality of all Tannic wines and will not process refunds based on personal tastes; after all, wine preferences are subjective. If your bottle has been corked and the wine’s taste and aroma altered, contact us at email@example.com within 30 days and we will be more than happy to replace or refund the bottle. However, if your palate simply dislikes the wine’s taste, we are unable to provide a return. Feel free to contact us and we will do our best to guide you into making selections based on your wine preferences.
